After each round, some participants are eliminated. The Omegathon is an annual tournament held at PAX that pits 20 randomly selected attendees in a three day marathon of games that span the spectrum of the gaming universe. Previous games featured in The PAX 10 include Celeste, Ridiculous Fishing, Rogue Legacy, Bastion, Audiosurf, Johann Sebastian Joust, Machinarium, Fez, Darkest Dungeon, Night in the Woods, and The Maw. This was the first time since PAX Prime 2014 that a full weekend badge was offered. The PAX West 2019 Storytime Session (keynote) speaker was Gary Whitta. It was the thirty-ninth PAX overall since the show began in 2004. PAX West 2019 was the thirteenth Penny Arcade Expo to take place at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington and the sixteenth PAX in the Seattle area.
